Somewhere in mid 80s I joined for the first time my Father, Professor Gregory Muravin, doing small Acoustic Emission jobs in his Non Destructive Testing Lab. I took a part in laboratory tests of specimens, studying programming with his engineers (or just playing Aladdin) and traveling for field inspections of bridges and tunnels in former USSR. It was beginning of my almost 30 years work with my parents, uncountable number of projects and scientific researches.
Today, is an important day for me, as my son Yakov has joined for the first time my company for small Acoustic Emission jobs including some sensors repair and assembly. I hope that I will be able to path my passion and knowledge in this great technology to my children, exactly as my Father did 30 years ago!
